Default Still Viable 55hp locations?

so, with all the old drop rate nerfs (hydras, trolls, etc...), which places are still a viable 55hp farm, yielding good drops?

Pretty much all farming seems to yeild low results now. Only really good items only come from chests now, it seems.

I can't see one more Hydra. Farmed it to death, drops are getting worse and worse.

Personally i still find doing hard mode in Gates of Kryta along with The First City to be good. You get your tomes you get your possibility of locked chests (except in Gates of Kryta since its a mission) and you get your salvage and golds. All you can do really anywhere is hope for a lot of "merchant food" But all in all especially this weekend Gates of Kryta and The First City will be your friend if all you can do is 55.

Gates of Kryta hardmode yields "Locked Chests" and regular chests. In fact, I'd say after farming Gates of Kryta 10 times, I've had 8/10 Locked Chests popping up with 7 of them producing golds...many high req crap stuff but the occasional Sephis Axe...but I haven't stumbled across a 15^50 yet.

This has a few 55able areas. most (if not all) of them can be done by a Mo/N, too.

Well in my experience I have found 0 chests strangely and I forgot that missions do have chests, just out of the way most of the time though. So thanks for reminding me.

After the Mystic Regen nerf, I seem to be getting creamed in Gates of Kryta. CAn someone remind me of the old healing breeze build that can be used in there now? (or is there a better one?)

You just need to put in healing breeeze and put points in healing and take out MR as well as remove the points out of earth. You can then go to other secondaries as well,Mo/W for Bonetti's Mo/Mes for Mantra or Resolve. You could go Mo/E for the Gates of Kryta and use shockwave.

I don't know if you're using E/D or D/Mo for the farm but the E/Mo is the best possible farming class combination for this farm.

Balth Aura
Glyph of Renewal
Sliver Armor
Stoneflesh Aura
Healing Breeze
Aftershock (I use this for extra damage)
Mending Touch (You need this for the conditions that come off the minions)
Armor of Earth

Keep up Stoneflesh Aura all the time, combined with Armor of Earth you will take no damage but that from minions letting off degen attack skills...then just mend condition them...heal breeze to regen your health if you need it....Glyph of Renewal the Sliver armor so that you maintain a constant flow of damage....enjoy.

I still regularly farm The First City with my 55 Monk and I still use Mystic Regen.

I haven't farmed Gates of Kryta in quite some time, so I can't speak on that area.
